“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” This quote from Gandhi would become the common thread throughout every phase of Lynette Jackson’s journey through life. From the airline industry to law enforcement to real estate, it would define her career purpose and direction.
Lynette grew up in Nebraska. Her dad was a teacher and football coach at her school, and her Mom was an administrative assistant. Her lively and mischievous nature laments that she could never get away with anything at school because her dad was always there. In fact, in the small town she grew up in, everyone knew everyone else’s business. But that would also turn out to be part of the personality and charm that would shape her.
Lynette began her career serving in the airline industry, where she met her husband, Jeff. After that, she became a Washington State Patrol Communications Officer, where she spent 11 years serving the community. Her peers nicknamed her ‘Action Jackson’ due to her rapid responsiveness and clear communication. Although she became very accomplished in both industries, neither would become her final calling. It was when her father in law passed away that she realized she needed to take her talents in a different direction. His passing had uprooted the family, and her mother in law could no longer take care of the home. Lynette found herself gently guiding the situation, and handling the estate and transaction. She made decisions that were both compassionate and quick, which changed the course of their lives, and led her to her calling to serve others in this same way. And that’s how she became known for the mantra, “Suited to Serve”.
Today, Lynette lives in Phoenix, Arizona, and is suited to serve people who are up-sizing or down-sizing to a new home or lifestyle so they can have the seamless and stress-free experience they deserve. She’s a Certified Probate Expert (CPE) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRE), which allows her to assist her clients in specific areas. Lynette believes you should get the service you deserve whether you’re growing your nest or emptying one
When she isn’t serving her real estate clients, she and Jeff enjoy spending time with their Doberman (Maya), and attending classic car shows. They also visit their two sons, Keith and Devin as often as possible. Yes, when you lose yourself in service to others, it impacts everyone around you. And everyone who spends time around Lynette will eagerly attest that she is genuinely ‘Suited to Serve’.
